Our IoT sensor technology is housed in a robust, seawater-resistant housing. All data is transmitted wirelessly to our server. This is done either via our own LoRaWan network or via NB-IoT (mobile radio). A public WiFi network is not required.

Sensors

Various sensors identify the current status of the berth and transmit the information directly to the harbour's marina software. The modules use their own radio network for this and do not burden the harbour's WLAN.

LED display

Each module has an LED display and shows the current availability of the berth. The modules are also able to illuminate the walkway surface with individual colours.

NFC technology and QR code

Standard technologies for forwarding to the payment platform or booking app.

PV + battery in maintenance-free housing

Our aim is to minimise the installation effort as much as possible. This is why all modules are energy self-sufficient and can be individually mounted. A solar module supplies the electronics with sufficient energy in summer and winter. This reduces the maintenance effort to a minimum.

Interfaces

"marinaSCAN" is purely a sensor system and transmits the data to a central IoT platform (marinaDATA). Communication with various administration and booking programmes via interfaces. The platform was developed to communicate easily with other software solutions.
